The protocol for the sports hall to be built by Sarbak Metal Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. on treasury-owned land allocated to the Ministry of National Education in the Kızılpınar neighborhood of Çerkezköy was signed on August 4, 2026. It was signed by Tekirdağ Governor Recep Soytürk, Çerkezköy District Governor Nazmi Günlü, Provincial Director of National Education Dr. Abdulaziz Yeniyol, Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Ali Kemal Atlı, and Sarbak Metal Chairwoman of the Board Meliha Halıgür. Speaking after the signing, Governor Soytürk noted that new spaces for young people to engage in sports continue to be created through state resources and the support of philanthropists, and he thanked Sarbak Metal and Chairwoman Meliha Halıgür for bringing this sports hall to the district, wishing the project every success. Following the ceremony, Governor Soytürk and the accompanying officials toured the Sarbak Metal factory and were briefed on its production processes.
