22nd General Assembly of OECAM (Organisation of European Copper Alloy Ingot Makers ) was done in Istanbul at 23-24 of September in Istanbul by Sarbak Metal invitation. The head Office was moved to Berlin from Düsseldorf last year . All the members are inside European Union Countries except Sarbak Metal , so the General Meeting was organized outside of EU countries in the first time. Mr Sevgür Aslanpay who is the Vice President from Export Sales of Sarkuysan , gave us a brifing about copper reserves , production and consuption in Turkey after the participants visit of Sarbak Metal factory in Çerkezköy on 23rd of September. Prof. Murat Üçer from Koç University gave us a brifing about Turkish Economy on 24th of September , later the participants talked about REACH, CLP, Packing, the lead content of the drinking water equipments and lead free brasses. At the end of the meeting we listened Prof Dr. Ünsal Yalçın , who is the Manager of Bochum, German Mining Museum about Uluburun Sunken ‘s 3000 years on copper trade arkeological conference. Mr. Andon Arakelyan who is the Chamber of the Board of Sarbak invited the participant to Dinner on Yatch in Bosphorus .
