In 1980s, the major part of Türkiye’s export was composed of textile and agricultural products. By the second half of 1990s, automotive, iron-steel and electronic sectors also increased their export volumes gradually. Within the process of globalization, exporters occupied a significant place in Turkish economy, which is growing about 20 quarters. According to the data of 2006, SARBAK METAL TİC. Ve SAN. A.Ş. RANKED THE FIRST among the “10 COMPANIES WITH THE HIGHEST RISING RATE ” in Export – 1000 list, by rising to 273rd rank in 2006 from its 935th rank in 2005, and RANKED THE SECOND among the “10 COMPANIES WITH THE HIGHEST RISING EXPORT RATE (PROPORTIONAL)” by an increase of 337,4%. Besides this, it achieved ranking 391st in İSO’s LARGEST 500 INDUSTRIAL COMPANIES OF TÜRKİYE list and at the same time, we were awarded the 2nd in the COPPER PRODUCTS CATEGORY of STARS OF EXPORT AWARDS given by İMMİB.
