Dezincification Resistance
1.10.2007
Dezincification corrosion is the incident of separation of zinc from the alloy in bass by being affected by the environment in which the product exist. Aggressive waters such as chlorinated, soft water and hot water accelerate zinc dezincification. Structural weakness of the brass is a factor as well as environmental effects. CuZn36Pb2As (CW602N) alloy has been developed to increase the dezincification resistance and the ß phase causing the dezincification has been eliminated. Sarbak Metal Tic. Ve San. A.Ş produces CW602N alloy to meet both calibrated and press requirements. The bars with CW602N alloy, which you may buy for both of your needs, have dezincification resistance property. They also comply with standards regarding "ROHS - Hazardous Chemicals Use Directive" and "DIN 50930-6 Materials Used in Drinking Water Contact Areas". In our dezincification resistance CuZn36Pb2As (CW602N) alloy production, besides the dezincification resistance property, we, Sarbak Metal Tic. ve San. A.Ş., produce in such a way that the best forging and machinability features remain permanently.
