    • Our goal is to make people's lives easier, better, healthier and more beautiful with our technology. As Sarbak Metal A.Ş, we have established our innovation strategy to meet the needs of our customers with the increasingly qualified brass materials with the developing technology by using our knowledge and experience from past to present.

      The driving factors of innovation at Sarbak Metal are both internal and external sources. Ideas and opinions of employees at every level within the company are transformed into product innovation, process innovation and customer focused innovation applications by evaluating them. Sarbak Metal also uses the results of research and development activities carried out with universities for innovation applications, the information acquired from various consulting services and the technology transfers that are acquired through commercial agreements.

      Our Innovation Mission

      We place innovation culture in Sarbak Metal and have it adopted by all of our staff. We determine the current and future needs of our customers and to produce such products it brings the necessary technology and talents to Sarbak Metal.

      Our Innovation Goals

      • In order to minimize the problems encountered during our customers' manufactures, customer specific alloys and technologies are being developed.
      • To create a new market for Sarbak Metal by introducing lead-free brass alloys, superior properties of the product and its being environment friendly.
      • To replace the efficiency of our production technology with the new generation machine park to provide 10% energy in order to reduce production costs and environmental impacts, .

      Innovation History.

      • Sarbak Metal was established in 1976 in Sazlıbosna Village. It produces MS58 bar (round, hexagonal, profile).
      • As of 1986, production of low pressure ingots has been started.
      • As of 05/2001, it has started to be implemented by being certified by ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System TÜV SÜD.
      • From 10/2003 on, CW 602 N zinc-resistant brass has started to be produced.
      • From 08/2005 on we started producing hollow bars.
      • As of 02/2006, it has started to be implemented by being certified by ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System TÜV SÜD.
      • In 2006, brass materials used in places that are in contact with drinking water DIN 50930 - 6 have started to be produced.
      • Starting from 07/2006, production started in line with the directives of 2002/95 / EC and ROHS.
      • Since 2005, the production of Federalloy lead-free ingots has been started (with the patent of Federal Metal, USA).
      • From 1/2009 on Sarbak Metal has started to apply the REACH directives by having the necessary registration done.
      • From 01/2009 on BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management System started to be implemented by being certified by TÜV SÜD.
      • From 01/2009 on, the following productions have been started; Ecobrass for bars and profiles and Ecocast for ingots, new generation lead-free brass alloys (with the patent of Wieland AG, Germany).
      • Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Recycling License was obtained in 2009.
      • In 2010; Our first book named "YELLOW METAL BRASS" was published with the devoted works of our factory's administrative staff.
      • In 2011; We entered among the top 10 finalists in the ISTANBUL CHAMBER OF INDUSTRY innovation awards. In the same year, SARBAK METAL was 2nd in the category of ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY PRODUCTS and PRACTICE award of ISTANBUL CHAMBER of INDUSTRY with our "EKOSARI" lead-free brass production. Also our second book “COPPER AND COPPER ALLOYS MACHINABILITY” Book has been published.
      • In 2014, our company once again raised production capacity, which was 250 tons per month in its establishment, to 8,000 tons per month.
      • In 2015; It started automat coil production, and the company has transformed ingot production, which has been carried out as free casting since its foundation, into continuous casting production. In 2015; Our third book, " COPPER BASED ALLOYS CASTING DEFECTS " was published. As of 2015, our company has become a member of the International Wrought Copper Council (IWCC).
      • In 2016, the number of employees reached 250. In 2016, an ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certificate was obtained because of the importance of protecting the information as well as the relations between the customer- supplier-producer.
